Project Management Simplified for Solo Freelancers

As a solo freelancer, you don't need enterprise-level project management. You need a simple system that keeps you organized without adding overhead.

Start with a single source of truth. Whether it's a tool like Tayseer, a Notion board, or even a spreadsheet — pick one place where all your projects live.

Break every project into milestones. Instead of tracking dozens of tiny tasks, define 3-5 key milestones per project. This keeps things manageable and gives you clear checkpoints.

Track your time, even roughly. Knowing how long projects actually take helps you estimate better and price more accurately in the future.

Review weekly. Spend 15 minutes each week reviewing your active projects. What's on track? What needs attention? This simple habit prevents things from slipping through the cracks.

The goal isn't perfect project management — it's having enough structure to deliver great work on time, every time.
